Harambe Etdiopian Restaurant in Columbia

My husband and I went at a quiet time, around 2. We were welcomed and given menus. Everything on their menu sounds good but I decided to try the chicken tibs and beef tibs. My husband had the meat platter. The flavors were amazing!!!! Lovely and cozy atmosphere. There is a bar and it looks like they may have a lively happy hour but we were able to enjoy our food and quiet.

I love Harambe so much that i literally drive 1 hour and a half out of town to eat their food. They even stayed open longer than they wanted to during covid while i drove to them from out of town for their delicious cuisine. That is above and beyond. I placed a big order as my appreciation of their great food and customer service!!! Like i said I LOVE HARAMBE! GREAT FOOD AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Calm and quiet, I loved the ambience of this eatery. Their spread is decent and reasonably priced. The flavors (read heat) although are kept milder to suit the taste buds of the locals.Our waitress was very nice and welcoming and did a very good job helping us decide the lunch course.

This place is amazing!! I was adopted from Ethiopia and I miss the food very much and I wish this was closer to me, but it's worth the drive! My husband and I love to come and get food to go as well :) my husband has drive 3/4 times from charleston, it's just that good!

It was the first time i go to an Ethiopian restaurant, and I personally loved this place. The food was delicious, and a great experience with the family. Definitely recommend this place.

The staff was friendly and the service was fairly fast. We got the veggie samosas as an appetizer and just wow! Those bite size samosas and fill with lots of flavor. As our main entree we had the Harambe Combo. It was very delicious! I cannot wait to go back, this place is a gem.

When we pulled up my wife was not so sure . But she was quickly pleasantly surprised. Our server was polite and friendly. The restroom was well kept. The coffee beautifully roasted, brought out to the table for us to inhale the intoxicating aroma. Tantilizing our taste buds, the exotic journey about to begin. We ordered the house combo dish and the chickpea dish with rice. It was perfect to split. Everything was absolutely delicious! Not one thing we didn't enjoy. The Gomen (collards) were the best we've ever had (us being from the deep south, that really speaks volumes). We only wish we lived closer to be able to be regular patrons. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed a wonderful (takeout) meal from Harambe. I had been meaning to try the restaurant since moving to Columbia and I am so glad I did. The vegetable sampler and Harambe sampler are both fantastic. I can’t wait to order again and to eat in soon!

Amazing restaurant with phenomenal food and lovely service! I really loved everything about this place! I can't stress enough how wonderful the staff were and how delicious the food was! I strongly encourage you to pay them a visit! Very nice people! Blessings!
